Updated: Nov 7, 2021
Bruce Byles joined our Board of Directors in August as our treasurer. Bruce is an Olympia native, a graduate of Olympia High School, and a United States Marine Corp Infantry veteran. He holds an AA degree from South Puget Sound Community College, a Bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State College, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. He co-owned and managed a business in downtown Olympia before moving into banking. He has over nine years of bank management experience for both Alaska USA FCU and TwinStar Credit Union (where he now manages the Lacey branch). He enjoys remodeling projects, riding his motorcycle, camping, boating, and spending time with friends.
Andi Rhodes Springer joined our Board in September. Andi is a real estate agent with Greene Realty Group. She volunteers at her daughter’s school and with Catholic Community Services. Her enthusiasm for helping others will definitely make a difference for Rebuilding Together.
Si (pronounced See) Sarton is our new part-time application coordinator. Si will be reviewing applications, scheduling repairs and ADA projects with volunteers and contractors, working on special projects, and helping with Rebuilding Day coordination. Si was a claims manager for the Department of Labor and Industries for over 30 years before retiring and joining RTTC. Si loves to travel and cook and we are looking forward to delicious office treats on a regular basis.
Shayanne Grand, our project manager for the last year and a half will take a break from Rebuilding to spend more time with her family. We are pleased to announce we’ve hired two new part time project managers.
Caleb Schlottmann will be completing site inspections and many of our repairs and ADA modifications. Caleb has many years of experience with apartment and building maintenance and we are excited to have him join us. Ken Main Villines, our other new project manager, is an experienced carpenter. He has many years of valuable experience working for local contractors.
