Rebuilding Together Thurston County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal EIN: 77-0613860) that provides free home repairs and handicap modifications for low income homeowners and nonprofit facilities. We serve low income homeowners who are elderly, disabled, families with children, and veterans in need. Rebuilding Together Thurston County was founded in 2003 by the Olympia Remodelers Council and other volunteers and is part of the Rebuilding Together national organization, with over 130 affiliates across the country. MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

JASON VATNE, BOARD PRESIDENT
Columbia Bank
Jason joined the board in 2019 after volunteering on a few home projects. A native of Rochester, Jason is a vice president with Columbia Bank and is the manager of the West Olympia branch. He is a graduate of Leadership Thurston County, and serves on the boards for Centralia College Foundation and BHR Foundation. He was previously a member of the Centralia Rotary. Jason enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and road trips.

REBEKAH GRAHAM, BOARD VICE PRESIDENT
Catholic Community Services
Rebekah is the volunteer program coordinator for Thurston County Food Bank. She believes safe, independent housing for those that can continue to live independently in their own homes helps strengthen communities and fosters positive neighborly relationships through meaningful connections. She lives in an adorable purple house in the beautiful Steamboat Island area with her husband, children, two cats, and a dog.

BRUCE BYLES, TREASURER
TwinStar Credit Union
Bruce joined our Board of Directors in August 2021 and serves as our treasurer. Bruce is an Olympia native, a graduate of Olympia High School, and a United States Marine Corp Infantry veteran. He holds degrees from South Puget Sound Community College, Evergreen State College, Chapman University. He co-owned and managed a business in downtown Olympia before pursuing a banking career. He has over nine years of bank management experience for both Alaska USA FCU and TwinStar Credit Union. Bruce manages TwinStar’s Lacey branch. He enjoys remodeling projects, riding his motorcycle, camping, boating, and spending time with friends.

TINA DAVIS, BOARD SECRETARY
TwinStar Credit Union
Tina lives in Olympia with her husband and three children. Tina has actively volunteered for more than 25 years with numerous organizations, including YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Women’s Build, Thurston County Food Bank, and Leadership Thurston County. She is a branch manager with TwinStar Credit Union and has worked in the finance industry for more than 24 years. Tina is an avid WSU Cougar fan and loves soccer, camping, and spending time with her family.

TOM AMES, BOARD MEMBER
Tom joined RTTC’s board in January of 2022. Tom has over ten years of construction experience in everything from carpentry to roofing to plan reading. Tom works as a highway maintenance worker for the Washington State Department of Transportation. Tom is looking forward to utilizing his construction expertise on projects.

ANDI RHODES SPRINGER, BOARD MEMBER
Greene Realty Group
Andi joined our Board in September 2021. Andi is a real estate agent with Greene Realty Group. She volunteers at her daughter’s school and with Catholic Community Services. Her enthusiasm for helping others is definitely an asset for Rebuilding Together.

CATHY JOHNSON
Executive Director
Cathy has a degree in Business Administration from Seattle University and a certificate in Horticulture from SPSCC. Cathy has volunteered with RTTC since 2012 and is a past board member. Cathy loves to read and travel with her husband and son.

MARJORIE GACHNE' PRICE
Director of Administration
Marge brings her long experience with several Thurston County nonprofits back to us. She has served in leadership and fundraising roles for Rebuilding Together Thurston County, Homes First, Tumwater Chamber of Commerce, Dispute Resolution Center, and Olympia Tumwater Foundation. She has extensive experience with projects, events, volunteers, fundraising and marketing. Marge has three daughters and four granddaughters.

SI SARTON
Applications Coordinator
Si reviews applications, schedules projects and provides Rebuilding Day coordination. Si was a claims manager for the Department of Labor and Industries for over 30 years before retiring. Si loves the color purple, and loves to travel and cook.

CALEB SCHLOTTMANN
Project Manager
Caleb conducts site inspections and completes many of our repairs and ADA modifications. Caleb has many years of experience with apartment and building maintenance. Caleb is an Olympia native and a proud Eagle Scout.
