Builders FirstSource is Rebuilding Together’s 2022 Toolbox Hero Award recipient. Builders FirstSource is the nation’s largest supplier of structural building products, value-added components, and services for new residential construction and repair and remodeling.
Builders FirstSource and its general manager, Ken Hassett, have been partnering with RTTC since 2020. Builders hosted our 2021 and 2022 birdhouse competitions and our virtual breakfast filming. Ken and his crew conducted a home repair workshop for Rebuilding clients in November 2021. At the workshop, homeowners learned everything from drywall repair to faucet repair. Ken served on the 2021 Rebuilding Day site selection committee and captained Builders FirstSource employees and their families at a 2021 Rebuilding Day project in Tumwater Along with being passionate about Rebuilding, Ken is also passionate about youth sports. Ken coaches, trains, and mentors youth in everything from basketball to baseball.
