POSTPONED: Rebuilding Day will be rescheduled!

UPDATE: Due to the statewide stay-at-home order, Rebuilding Day 2020 has been postponed. A new date for this important event will be shared as soon as we are able. Until then, we are still recruiting volunteers and sponsors! If you would like to help a neighbor, please contact us using the links below. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Rebuilding Together Thurston County will host its annual Rebuilding Day on May 2, 2020. Last year, 112 volunteers donated their time and talents to provide free critical repairs and accessibility modifications, valued at more than $73,000, to the homes of seven low income homeowners. Are you skilled in carpentry, plumbing, or flooring? Volunteers with these skills are always needed, but especially so for Rebuilding Day! Email us to volunteer »

During Rebuilding Day homeowners receive a variety of critical, safe and healthy home repairs, including: flooring repairs and replacement, weatherization repairs, handrail replacements, accessibility modifications, painting, landscaping and other major home rehabilitations. The repairs are provided at no cost to the homeowners, who are often faced with diminishing resources and must choose food and medicine over critical home repairs. Over time, neglect of maintenance can lead to crumbling foundations, dangerously sagging roofs and windows and doors that can’t be securely shut.

If your organization would like to sponsor a project site with a financial donation, a meal or snacks for our volunteers, or with building supplies, we would be truly grateful. Please email us
