We are still working on two Rebuilding Day projects. We have completed all the major tasks for James (pictured) in Olympia (wheelchair ramp, new flooring in the kitchen, carpet stretching, etc.) but the plumbing leak in his bathroom requires a plumber. We can’t have a plumber on site until James is home from the hospital. He’s had a tough couple of months addressing health issues.
Volunteers from the Department of Fish and Wildlife did a fantastic job helping Clell in Yelm when they replaced her bathtub, removed and replaced water damaged flooring, and repaired drywall.
We are almost finished with Sidney’s challenging project. We’ve removed and replaced sewage damaged flooring, built a new landing and stairs, repaired drywall and trim, replaced a broken window, and just installed new (donated!) countertops. Kitchen Design Center, a long time partner of Rebuilding, arranged for the new countertops. Thank you!!
